Set a few steps away from a ferry port. There's no complaints, I can't wait to go back...

We had a very good stay at The Originals City in Saint-Malo. The rooms were spacious and had good quality fixtures in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the availability of plenty of hot water.
One drawback was the lack of ventilation in the room. The only source of ventilation and natural light was from the doors onto the balcony.

The jet shower was fantastic and the room comfortable and quiet at night, which is just what we wanted after a lot of travelling to catch the ferry the next morning. Very helpful lady at the desk.
Unfortunately for the hotel there were massive roadworks and hence the location was difficult to find and not that pleasant. We sat outside our room in the evening which was nice, but I don't think anyone has paid attention to cleaning outside the room at all. It was all rather "unloved".

The hotel was well situated and easy to find off main road. There was nothing to the hotel witin walking sitance apart from an industrial esate area which was very quiet. We used the hotel as a stop off after leaving the ferry post before driving through further into France. The hotel was good value however very basic. The lady on reception spoke very good English and was very nice.
No evening meals basic facilities.
